The Bookshop is receiving orders for University of Melbourne prescribed and recommended textbooks for Summer and 1st Semester 2012. Orders for 2nd Semester are also welcome but will not be processed until 2012.
Please send your orders as soon as possible. Books from overseas can take up to three months to arrive.

There is a new textbook submission site at http://www.bookshopservices.unimelb.edu.au/ . It has a number of advantages over the old site: it provides textbook information from previous years, including sales figures, and does not require entries to be re-typed each year. Textbook information must still be re-submitted each time a subject runs but the new site makes this process easier. It requires a login and password, allowing users to save their reading lists (even if incomplete), return to them for editing and keep permanent records of their submissions. Feedback is very welcome and the site can still be refined, so all staff are encouraged to offer comments.

An Excel spreadsheet is available on request for staff unable to use the new site.

Textbooks that have already been ordered for Summer or 1st Semester 2012 do not need to be reordered, but orders placed in previous years will not automatically be carried over.

Please direct any questions regarding textbooks to the Academic Liaison Officer for your school or faculty. Note that Koola Chatzikantis is now responsible for ordering Law textbooks.
