A: The SPP Bookshop has the following trading times;

Q: Are prices subject to change?
A: Prices cited on our website are based on the date the book was last
stocked. Due to volatile currency fluctuations and publishers'
increases, prices on books not currently in stock are subject to
change. If there is a significant price change we will make every effort
to contact you prior to supply.
All prices quoted are in Australian dollars and are GST inclusive.
Q: I need a book that is not listed on your database.
A: Drop us a line with the details of the book/s and we will find it for
you. Although we generally stock medical & nursing books we can order in any book from anywhere in the
world.
Q: Do you offer any discounts?
A: Order online and receive our 10% online discount for most items except those which are already discounted.
The discounted GST inclusive price is shown upon completion of your online
order. Already discounted products are marked NETT, SPECIAL or DISCOUNT PRICE. Unfortunately, we cannot stop the
computer from doing the final 10% calculation on already discounted prices.
Q: Why don’t you have a shopping trolley?
A: Our database is a live database - What you see is what we've got - literally! If you are ordering more than one
book and your details have already been submitted once, simply type "on file" in the address details. We will confirm
your order if necessary. We will store your card details on a separate non-internet computer for security.
Q: What about delivery?
Online orders under $99.00 retail will incur a $9.95 delivery fee and at cost by international courier anywhere in
the world.
Q: How long will it take for my book to arrive once I have placed an order?

Order online and SAVE -
For all online orders $99.00 retail or over, SPP Books will deliver by standard mail
free of charge anywhere in Australia.
Charges for international or urgent special orders will be confirmed prior to supply.
Overnight Bags (up to 3 kgs) for most areas in Australia $25.00.
A: Most books are available for either immediate supply if they are in
our shop, or between 5 - 10 working days if available at Australian warehouses. Some books may take a little longer to
supply depending on availability and overseas suppliers but we endeavour to obtain all books as quickly as possible.
A: If you have any special instruction, please send an email in addition
to your online order and we will confirm pricing and delivery options.
A: PLACE YOUR ORDERS CAREFULLY. Unless faulty, all products are sold strictly on a firm sale basis and will
not be considered for return under any circumstances. Unauthorized returns will be returned to the sender at their
expense. Special orders and imports for non-stock items cannot be cancelled once the order has been initiated by the
publisher or supplier. Advance payment or credit card details may be required before these orders can be accepted.
A: SPP uses the industry standard SSL encryption software on our secure server.
A: Please keep your search as UNIQUE AND AS PRECISE as possible, and DON'T USE
ANY PUNCTUATION.
You can search for books by author, title, keyword or ISBN. Don't use words such as "a, the, is, and" etc., except
in "Title starts with" and never use them as the very first word of the title.
An underscore search will return all entries beginning with those letters, e.g.. anaesth_ will return anaesthetic,
anaesthetics, anesthesia, anaesthsiology, anaesthetists etc, nurs_ will return nurse, nurses, nursing etc.
Most words on our database use English spelling i.e. paediatrics not pediatrics so always try the British spelling first,
but if you don't find enough, try a second - or third search, e.g.. counseling or counselling or counsel_
And remember, some words can be one word - healthcare - or two - health care.
A: Narrow your search by selecting the "year of publication" drop down
box. Not only will this narrow your search, it will allow you to
quickly find the most current and up to date books in your areas of
interest.
A: Make sure your search type corresponds with what you have entered in
the “search word” box.
Have you searched our stock or the entire database??
If you are still having a problem please email or phone us and we will check for you. Because we are running a
live database it is sometimes necessary for the site to be down so that we can run our maintenance programs,
but this usually takes place between midnight and early morning AEST, so please get in touch with us if you find the
site down at any other time.
A: Order online immediately through our secure website, visit our
Melbourne shop, or phone, fax or email. SPP can arrange for your items to be delivered anywhere in the world.
When you see something you want, click on the check box near the author, then scroll down and click the
“Order Now’ box. Follow the prompts on the screen to order your book.
A: Our mailing lists are currently under development but you can add your name to our lists now. You will soon receive
regular emails advising you of new books and special offers. You can also find descriptions of new feature books on
our homepage under WHAT'S NEW. Or you can search by keyword and year of publication on our search page.
